I’ve always loved the look of a rough edge in woodworking and one day I looked at the edge of a piece of leather and loved the way the edges looked before they were cut into straight lines. I kept thinking about making a bag with a rough edge until literally in the middle of the night I decided I NEEDED to make that bag. This is what came out of it. This is the second of the “rough edge” series.
The bag measures about 10 1/2″ wide and 9″ tall. It’s about 1″ thick at the top (which flexes to much larger) and about 2″ at the bottom of the gusset. There is a built-in inside pocket at the top and back of the bag that’s a perfect size for your phone or any other item that you might want quick access to.
The turquoise crinkle leather is a shiny turquoise and is fairly stiff and the flap, strap and gusset are made of soft black pebble-grained leather with a raw edge on the flap.
The strap measures approximately 48″ and is made of interlocking 1″ pieces to give it a super lightweight and fun bohemian look.
Because of the natural edge, no two pieces will ever be the same. Because of this, the bag you see in the photo is the actual bag you’ll receive.
Includes a matching 6″ keyfob or purse dangle that matches the strap on the bag.
